New Annual Cider Festival in Oxford

Cider in the Barn 2016
September the 10th 2016 brings the second year of Cider in the Barn held at the home of Hitchcox cider in the heart of Oxford.  To these guys cider is not just a a watered down apple drink but an explosion of fresh fruity flavours to be enjoyed with friends, music and great clothing.

Come on down to the farm on Saturday 1oth September to meet the guys behind the cider, take your taste buds on an adventure, listen to some great sounding live bands that bring you some fresh and funky sounds.  To help you get into the festival spirit Mystical Mayhem Festival Clothing will be there with a selection of festival threads to keep you cider drinkers warm (or cool) and happy.

Cider in the Barn is aiming to be one of the highlights in the beer and cider festival calendar offering a chance for people to get together and experience to taste of real cider on a real cider farm with real cider lovers. But don’t you worry if cider is not for you as there will be a fine selection of local ales for you to work your way through.  There really is nothing like sitting and relaxing in the last of the summer days at a beer festival.

With live music from Oubliettes, Echo Town, Static Son, A Boy Called Man, Jamie Mackay, Adam & Elvis and more.

Locally sourced fresh fantastic food for you to chow down on.

A selection of great ales from local producers.

Fantastic festival clothing from Mystical Mayhem (not that we are blowing our own trumpet here)

Top notch cider from the Hitchcox cider co.

Where is the festival?

Why come to this festival?
Well what a question to ask…. Do you  like Cider? Beer? Food? Music? Great Atmosphere?
Well I hope that’s answered that question out the way nice and fast.

When is the festival on?
If we haven’t already said then pop along to Cider in the Barn on Saturday the 10th September from Midday onwards.  Music starts around 13:00pm but drinking starts as soon as the doors open, don’t forget to come see Mystical Mayhem Clothing.

How much will this cost me?
That really depends on how you get there, I’d probably recommend taking the car with a few friends then paying that little extra to pitch the old tent so you don’t have to worry about fighting over who will be the sober one in the group.
Standard entry is £6
Camping is extra £5
Caravan is extra £10
